Pamulaparti Venkata Narasimha Rao, popularly known as P.V. Narasimha Rao, was an Indian politician and statesman who served as the ninth Prime Minister of India from 1991 to 1996. He was born on June 28, 1921, in a small village called Vangara in the present-day Telangana region of Andhra Pradesh.
