Qutb Minar, located in Delhi, India, is a towering masterpiece of architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was built by Qutb-ud-din Aibak, the first ruler of the Delhi Sultanate, in the early 13th century. Construction of the minaret began in 1192 and was completed by his successor, Iltutmish, in 1220.
