Zakir Husain, born on February 8, 1897, in Hyderabad, India, was the youngest of seven children in an affluent family. His father, Fida Husain Khan, was a lawyer, and his mother, Naznin Begum, hailed from a distinguished lineage.
Tragically, Zakir lost his father when he was only ten, leading to his family's relocation to Etawah, in Uttar Pradesh. This early loss instilled in him a sense of responsibility and resilience that would define his future endeavors.
