Can WhatsApp Pay beat PhonePe and Google Pay?

Why do so many of us use WhatsApp for message but need a new app for payments? What can we learn from this?

Meta has launched a variety of different types of products including a product known as WhatsApp Pay. There has been a lot of work done on WhatsApp Pay to make sure that it is one of the payment processing systems that can be widely used in India. However, things did not go as planned. Entrepreneur Ashneer Grover has highlighted that WhatsApp Pay was one of the biggest tech product failures in India. A lot of resignations that are going on in WhatsApp India recently, along with Meta in India. There were employees who were working for a large number of years in these companies in India who are quitting now. WhatsApp Pay had a lot of potential because every mobile in India almost have WhatsApp installed right now. It is interesting to learn why this happened.
